Greetings, fellow Imperials. September has proven to be an interesting and disturbing month. All of us have had our lives affected by the events of and following September 11th. All of us are wondering how these events will affect the world. As I stand here observing what could potentially be the beginning of a long war, I find our own galactic battleground placed in a rather trivial perspective.

It has always been the policy of the Imperial Order that real life comes first. Now, more than ever, I would like to stress that policy. Real life takes priority over everything else. Count your blessings and take nothing for granted. Turbulent times are these in which we now work and play. May we make the best of it.

    Now, back to Star Wars…

Imperial Order Battle XXVIII has been concluded.

The battle began with a Rebel attack on the Imperial facilities at Sluis Van where the Rebels managed to steal some much needed equipment. Soon after the attack, a Rebel Fleet was spotted massing in the Inner Rim and was suspected to be headed to the Sesswenna Sector. Suspicions were confirmed when communications were cut off to the Sesswenna Sector.

The ISD Eradicator was sent from Sluis Van to the Bortras System in the Sesswenna Sector to deliver intelligence data and equipment to Intel's ISD Malevolent. Intel discovered two Rebel Fleets setting up a blockade of the Sesswenna Sector in preparation for an assault on Coruscant. The situation was becoming very dangerous because the Rebel forces outnumbered the Imperial forces protecting Coruscant. The Rebels, however, would soon discover the flaw in their own Intelligence reports.

While one of the Rebel Fleets engaged the Coruscant Defense Fleet at Golan Outpost C and the other attempted to keep up the blockade, a large number of newly completed Imperial warships was able to join the battle and make the difference. The Rebels had not anticipated the extra Imperial ships and they quickly found themselves outmatched.

The two Rebel Fleets suffered heavy losses and were forced to withdraw from the Sesswenna Sector. Even though we lost most of our new ships, the good news is that the majority of the Coruscant Defense Fleet survived and we were able to capture several high ranking Rebels.

Word of the battle has been sent to Emperor Larsen in the Unknown Regions via secure channels. He is sure to be most pleased with the valiant defense of Coruscant and Imperial controlled space. Excellent work, everyone!
