TO: The Imperial Order .... Transmission Begins .... Greetings, officers of the Imperial Order! I hope you all are doing well, and I'm looking forward to rejoining you all mid-summer of next year. I am sure each and every one of you will stay busy and active until then, so the time will go quickly. I have been keeping up with all IO activities, courtesy of Grand Admiral Kamin. I am pleased overall at the level of activeness and effort, though some important areas are still falling occasionally, specifically, adherence to our Code of Conduct and following the Chain of Command. From day one of the IO I have stressed and tried to impress upon everyone the importance of these two things in our group. For the CoC, it pretty much boils down to respect for your superior officers and your fellow members. It is a very simple set of rules to follow, and one you use in RL, so it should not be a problem in the IO. The Chain of Command, reporting in on a weekly basis, bringing ideas to the right officer (usually your CMDR/PCMDR or WC/RC), and keeping up with the duties your commanding officer assigns you. Most of the time, all it takes s a simple email to your CO telling them what you are up to. It takes 5-10 minutes, and is not very much to ask. Communication is key for the Chain of Command, so utilize it! I don't like hearing from CMDRs and PCMDRs that their people are not reporting in on time, or not at all. OK, enough said. I have also not received any battle outlines for official IO battles. Even if you do not have editing skills, you can still submit plotlines. All outlines should be sent to GA Kamin so he can send them to me for approval. I was very pleased with the results of the Outer Rim War and our participation in it. I'd like to extend my personal congratulations to all those officers who won medals for their participation and skills. I am also glad to see some more of you taking active parts in our Gaming Ladders - let's keep those piloting and JK skills honed to a fine edge people! That is all I have for you at the time, other than to remember that the Imperial Order's Fifth Anniversary will be coming up in January. I will be transmitting orders to the HC in the next couple of months in preparation for this monumental event. Until the next time, keep active, keep up the good work, and remember the Imperial Order motto: Distinction and Honor! {Salute} Emperor Ged Larsen
