Officers of the Imperial Order, I bring you greetings. I have
a few items to announce to everyone, so here we go:
Imperial
Order 5th Anniversary Party
The Imperial
Order's birthday is quickly approaching, and on January 1, 2002 the
Imperial Order will be five years old. As always, a celebration will
be held on IRC, the current tentative date for the party is January
5, 2002. More information on the party will be forthcoming from the
High Command.
New
Gaming Platforms
LucasArts
will be providing the Star Wars gaming community with several new
titles for fans to enjoy. The Imperial Order will, of course, utilize
these gaming platforms.
Jedi Knight
II will be incorporated for use by both the Dark Jedi Order and CompForce.
Star Wars: Battlegrounds will at first be used for regular gaming,
but will later be used for Intelligence and CompForce members. Star
Wars: Galaxies, at this point, will be used by everyone. Knights of
the Old Republic, while limited information exists at this time, will
most likely be used by the Dark Jedi Order only.
I'm sure
all of you are looking forward to playing these promising games and
having them used by the Imperial Order as much as I am.
High
Command Changes
Effective
immediately, the following High Command officers are relinquishing
their positions and taking up roles as Imperial Advisors to Fleet
Command. All of these officers have cited RL difficulties that are
hindering their Imperial Order duties, and rather than hang on in
a nonexistent High Command role, they have accepted to remain members
in an advisory position. They are:
Fleet Admiral
Krosas, former Grand Vizier
Admiral Jessup, former Dark Lord of the Sith
Admiral Pimple, former Tactical Officer
Vice Admiral Spyguy, former Logistics Officer
The Grand
Vizier position is being removed from the ranks of the High Command
and will henceforth be attached to my Fleet Command Office Staff.
The position will be filled when I return.
I'm pleased
to announce today that one of the Imperial Order's finest officers
and one of the Dark Jedi Order's fiercest warriors, DarkSun, has been
chosen to succeed Lord Jessup as the next Dark Lord of the Sith. My
congratulations to you, Rear Admiral. You have served the Imperial
Order very well and have earned yourself a position in my High Command.
As mentioned
a few weeks ago, Admiral Max Porteous has shifted his role in the
High Command to the position of Tactical Officer. Max feels his skills
will be put to better use as the Tactical Officer, and I appreciate
and applaud his efforts. This leaves the Communications Officer position
open, and it will remain open until further notice. The HA:CO, LG
Curgenven, has shifted to the position of HA:FC and will be covering
the duties of the Communications Officer for the time being.
For his
constant efforts in keeping the Imperial Order running as smoothly
as possible and for this most recent acquisition of duties, I am hereby
promoting LG Curgenven to the rank of Major General. Congratulations,
Curgenven!
The Logistics
Officer position will also remain unfilled until further notice. I
would like to thank VA Spyguy, however, for the dedicated work he
gave to the Logistics Office during his time there.
Imperial
Intelligence
After a
brief conference with GA Kamin, FA Antilles, and myself, I have decided
to close Intel to new recruit agents until further notice. Those agents
currently employed by Intel will report directly to GA Kamin in FA
Antilles' absence.
My Personal
Status
As many
of you are aware, my LOA is due to my current duties to the United
States Military. My duty will come to and end in the summer of 2002.
I will then make my full return at that time. I will be transferring
to a base closer to my home this spring and as such, I will have more
weekend leave time, so expect me to pop up unannounced from time to
time.
I'm sure
you all can appreciate my current situation, especially with the state
of affairs going on in America right now. I can't say much about it,
but I assure you things are pretty tense. The few leaves I will have
around the holidays will be spent with my family and I doubt I'll
have time to come online.
That about
wraps up my report. Remember to remain diligent in your duties and
make me proud of the Imperial Order. Until my next transmission,
Long Live
the Empire!
